The Caribbean Premier League, CPL 2020 will witness its 8th edition in 2020. The proclaimed dates for the tournament are from 19th August to 10th September, with the Pandemic still being the biggest threat looming all over the world, the matches are being played behind the doors.

The current situation is not favorable and playing in these adverse conditions means risking the lives of players. While CPL authority is in constant touch with the West Indies Cricket Board and the Medical support staff, it is played to entertain the die-hard cricket fans.

Criteria of CPL Points Table 2020

CPL Points Table will be updated daily after match result wit the net run rate to know which teams are leading to the race of the playoffs.

• 2 points awarded for each match won. 
• 1 point per team taking part in any game with no result or draw.
• 0 points awarded for any game that is lost.

CTL T20 Playoff Matches:

If any of the final, The Eliminator, or the Qualifier matches are tied or there is no result, the teams will compete in a super over to determine the winner of the match. Even if the Super over is a tie, the team that stands at the higher position in CPL 2020 points table will be the winner of the playoff match. Hence all the teams target the higher position, and hence the cricket fans can expect a bit of entertainment and thrill here.

Two matched will be played daily and the matches are scheduled at 7:30 PM (1st match) and the 2nd match to be played at 3:00 Am (next day). These are the CPL 2020 match timings in India.

CPL 2020 will be played in three phases. First 10 matches will be played in Brian Lara Stadium. The next 10 matches will be played in Queen’s park Oval stadium and the next 13 matches will be played again in the Brain Lara Stadium including the semi final and final matches.
