Our Match Prediction: England to win the Match.
Ireland cannot be completely written off but it is very difficult to see them win a match against the current world champions at home. England has strong batting line up, more quality bowling and playing at home being an added advantage.

ENG vs IRE 1st ODI Dream11 Predictions & Match Preview
England Team Preview
Despite the short turnaround time between the Tests against west Indies and ODI series, there are no workload concern with England fielding a completely different outfit to that from the Tests. the tremendous depth in the England ODI setup is something that helped it win the world cup. England has a very strong lineup even without any of its test regulars.
The opening Batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy will most likely be followed by James Vince. Eoin Morgan will be batting in the fourth order which is considered to be the tough top order and is capable of scoring high score at a very quick pace. Bairstow is considered one of the best top order batsman in England team and is predicted to score his best in this first ODI. There is a stiff competition for the middle-order places but as far as our cricket Guru’s prediction Moeen Ali, Joe Benly and Tom Banton may be picked for the next places.
The four bowlers for the first match are most likely to be Adil Rashid, Tom Curran, David Willey, and Saqib Mahmood and have a completely different pace attack. Liam and Rashid are the spinners in the team. Adil Rashid is our best pick among the bowlers in England team.
Ireland Team Preview
When it comes to Ireland, there has been a good mix of young and experienced players in the team. All-rounder Curtis Campher and middle order batsman Harry Tector could be in line for the debuts. George Dockrell and Gary Wilson are in the reserves while Mark Adair is still nursing an injury. Andrew Balbirnie will lead the team along with Kevin O’Brien lending his experience. Young Left arm pacer Joshua Little who picked up four wickets the last time these two teams met is one of our picks to watch for along with Craig young and Simi Singh will be the bowlers for the opening match.
Ireland will not be able to beat England at the power game unless it has to play smart enough. A more traditional method of keeping the wickets in hand and then building up to big finish may be the right way to go.
Time travel to the back:
England and Ireland have played nine ODI’s against each other with only one win which is rather the famous one in 2011 Men’s cricket world cup where they chased 328 with three wickets to spare.
For the compressed cricket calendar due to the COVID-19 pandemic this match will be played behind the doors and all the cricket fans are eagerly waiting for it. For Ireland this series is perhaps more important because ICC has announced that the new ODI super league is officially the basis for World Cup 2023 qualification and so every match is going to be vital.
The team that wins the toss is going to bat first is what we expect to be excellent batting conditions.
