Punjab VS Bangalore HEAD TO HEAD MATCHES & STATS

KXIP Won: 12
RCB Won: 12

Last edition Bangalore have won both of their games.

Kings XI Punjab team analysis

Rahul and Mayank will open the innings for the team, Rahul looked in good touch but got out cheaply for 21 runs which included 2 fours and 1 six, on the other side Mayank has almost single handedly won the game for his team last match, he looks in fine form.

Middle order was a bit of concern for them in last outing, they might bring in James Neesham to squad in place of Jordan/Pooran given the better all-rounding abilities and quality he brings in to the team. Glenn Maxwell is a handy pick to fantasy team and James Neesham.

Finishers have quite not did the job too, Gowtham scored 20 but proved costly with the ball.

Fast Bowling had impressive outing in the last match where Shami and Cotrell were economical and picked up 5 wickets if they add Neesham they will have 6th bowling option to cover up which they did not have in first game.

Ravi Bishnoi is expected to have another game who has impressed nicely and picked up a wicket and was economical too, his spinning abilities will be tested against Bangalore.

Players to look out: Rahul, Neesham, Bishnoi, Shami, Mayank

Royal Challengers Bangalore team analysis

Padikkal and Finch looked pretty much solid with their batting especially Padikkal was playing aggressive role which helped Finch to consolidate, they had 80+ runs in the first wicket, Once again they will be looking to give good start to team.

Middle Order looks more stronger with super man ABD striking over 160 in the last match, he scored 50 off 30 balls he played, Kohli looked in good touch but departed quickly, surely he is a player to bank on. Remaining team did not get enough space to bank on but Dube was striking ball for 100.

Josh Phillipe is expected to play considering his finishing abilities and his exclusion will result in change in equilibrium to team.

Steyn and Saini were on fire in the last outing, they picked up wickets at crucial junctures and bowled economically, Saini was pick of two players with an economy of 6, that eased of pressure from Steyn.

Chahal is consistent player for team, kept them in the match by picking crucial wickets of Pandey and Bairstow, he will be expected to do the same in their next match as well.

The only pain point for the team is their  5th bowling option, Umesh was expensive last game but he is a exciting player, Dube and Sundar have covered the overs luckily but this is surely one of pain points for the team to concentrate.

Players to look out: Padikkal, Kohli, De villiers, Saini, Chahal

KXIP vs RCB Match Predictions

Our take: If Punjab can sneak in ABD and Kohli wickets cheaply with their fast bowling which are truly capable, their finishing capabilities will be tested and Punjab can take this as advantage, If Bangalore can cover their fifth and Sixth bowling options correctly RCB will be safe to register their second win in tournament.
