Players Available for IPL 2021 Auctions

If the reports are to be believed, BCCI is planning to conduct the IPL 2021 Auction on February 18th or 19th in Chennai. As the 2nd test between India and England ends on February 17th. Officials are planning to lock the 18th or 19th for the auction. There are 55 players available for the upcoming IPL auction 2021 after the franchises: Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) — announced their list of released and retained players.

RCB released the most number of players (10), while KXIP released nine. KXIP is the team going into the auction with the highest purse balance of 53.2 Crores.

Based on the past performances, teams like Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR) are planning to make necessary changes to their squads to get back to winning ways and the last year’s top 4: Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be looking to add more bench strength.
